USE A BOX...
AMAZING KEYBOARD !!! BUT - Here's the bottom line to this "accessory". Use a Box of some kind; mine measures - 12 x 9.5 x 4". That's the best size box for this type of keyboard. I've been using it for a year now and tried to find a cheaper website that carried this "Ascent Multi-Tent Accessory" item and this is the ONLY site that has this unit. Even at $179.00, it's still not worth it. USE A BOX. To the guys at The Human Solution - What was your cost for these things? $90 or $100? Because if it was, you should dump them at that cost you bought them for and be done with it. And if you paid more than what I said, then they're going to be even harder to sell... This piece of metal shouldn't be any more than $40 to $50 tops. No accessory should cost twice the amount of the main item you're trying to sell. My only concern is, that you won't be fair and allow this review to be posted... It's no slight on you, just you're decision to allow this accessory to be sold on your sight for such a high price for such AN AMAZING KEYBOARD !!! WHICH BTW, IT IS !!! :-)
The Human Solution Response: Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you like the keyboard. The Ascent Multi-Tent Accessory is a unique piece that is expensive for Kinesis to produce. Sorry it's expensive and we'll drop our price if the manufacturer can engineer a less expensive solution for you. Best Regards, Jon Paulsen, President -
Great but bit pricy
Freestyle keyboard is great and this option does indeed make it even better. But, is it worth twice the value of keyboard itself? I am not sure. If you don't mind the price do get it. However, if you are unsure, I suggest you make something like it your self. All it is is just an angled stand which you can make with welding together 2 metal pieces. You can use wooden boards and that might work as well. Bottom line is, it is good but overpriced.

Saved my hands
I'm using the Ascent accessory with the Freestyle Keyboard. I have one side at 60 degrees and the other at 50 degrees, and the pain in my hands and forearms is gone. Use with the Evoluent mouse.

Great for RSI or carpal tunnel
This keyboard is the best approach to helping relieve wrist pain. It is infinitely customizable to the appropriate angle. I am glad I purchased this item.
