UPLIFT Sit-Stand Desk Frame Only

The frame was perfect for converting my desktop (older Steelcase variety). The base was placed under one section of the desk. I love it! Some words of caution. Be sure if having someone else install the base you insist they follow the installation instructions exactly. My installer did not do that and caused problems. The staff @ The Human Solution however worked with me to get the issue resolved. Even when there was a problem caused by the incorrect installation, The Human Solution did not quibble but replaced what was needed. A great product sold by a great company!

The desk frame I purchased was extremely easy to put together with a desktop and does everything I expected. Much better deal than some of the other adjustable desks I found online. I couldn't be happier.

Using in an office environment paired with a Lifespan TR1200DT treadmill. Electronic up and down is a must in the office as so many different users can easily and smoothly raise and lower the desk height to their comfort without the hassle and potential risk involved with manual height adjustment. Smart move is to purchase as a frame only and add a desktop, this for me was less than other manual desks I was looking at. I easily assembled the frame, mounted it to the an old desktop I found in the office, ran the wires and mounted the controls where they were convenient and all has been working well for months now. All the staff love the ease of use and smooth & quiet operation of the Uplift 900 desk.

I am very happy with this desk and with the company! It works beautifully and looks like it will stand the test of time.

My desk had what I thought was a peculiar issue where one leg starts to lower first and the table starts to freeze up. I called the customer service and they were INCREDIBLY helpful. I am watching out for it to happen again, after they gave me another set of simple control reset instructions (hold the down button down for 15 seconds just like it says to do in the instructions when you initially set up the desk and things to look out for (making sure my cables are not too short for the movement of the desk or too tight to where they pull on the desk when raised, etc).

The desk is great, but what really sells it is the customer service. They stand behind their product and will do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy your desk!

I decided to customize mine so I had my own desktop refinished then I attached it to the UpLift 900 frame. The top is now attached to the Uplift 900 and it is looking and working great. We had a problem with one of the original cords, but customer service overnighted a new set and they are working well. Thanks for helping this 68 year old stay healthy.

I should have bought one of these years ago. I was not sure how much of my day I would stand - maybe an hour or two. I can easily say I use it in the standing position more than 50% even 80-90% of my day. I should have ordered one of these years ago. I've already got my brother-in-law and his father-in-law interested in one. It's that good. The only thing they don't tell you is to be sure you have a good pair of comfortable shoes and be sure to have a foot stand you can alternate resting one or the other foot on under the desk.

Very pleased with this desk frame. I now stand more than I sit.
I only have access to 230V power outlets (the UpLift Desk is made for the USA 110V) so I had to purchase a transformer to convert 230V to 110V which was a disappointing extra cost ($120AUD), but once installed everything worked perfectly. An optional control box that handles 230V input would be an improvement.
Another improvement would be to have the small LED height display only come on during movement.
The desk is very stable, even when raised to the standing position.
The motion from sit to stand is smooth and quick and I use the memory function for the 2 positions which saves mucking about with fine adjustments.
As an international buyer, the Uplift 900 has been good value for money when compared to locally available products with similar features, even when factoring in the significant additional costs of shipping and the voltage converter.
Overall, I'm very happy with the desk.

I researched heavily all the available stand/sit desks including electric and non-electric models. This desk came out on top by far, and after using it for several months I can say that I love it:

Specs: It has a HUGE range of adjustable height, it's faster than most models, has a high weight capacity, etc.

Appearance: I am very pleased. Combined with a nice desktop it creates a very clean, modern but minimalistic and open look for my home office.

Assembly: I used a large Ikea desktop. It took an hour or so to complete, but had good instructions and videos to help.

Shipping: I think it took two business days to get to the east coast. Ships same day. These guys are on it!

Build: Seems quite solid and high quality. I can lean on it with all my weight with no problem, etc.

Other: I would consider the optional advanced cable management system to be essential unless you have some other system. Keeps everything tucked out of sight and the desktop clean and neat.

I don't often spend this much on furniture but having used this desk for a few months I have no regrets. In fact, I would consider this an essential item for any office that exists in this century. The ability to choose any height, make fine adjustments throughout the day, and switch from standing to sitting does wonders to help/prevent workplace fatigue and spinal/wrist problems. It has changed my daily working life drastically for the better.

I bought the frame and casters and made a top that I could get trough doorways in order to move from room to room.
It works well and I especially like the option to stand when I work. Having the ability to get the top exactly the right height to the fraction of an inch for me is really important. I can't think of any changes I'd like so it's good.
