UPLIFT Sit-Stand Desk Frame Only

After having the parts sitting in my office for a month, I finally found a bamboo laminate counter top and put it all together. With one of THS's keyboard trays that I've been using for 4 or 5 years. After only a week or two switching between sitting and standing, my back feels better already. Wonderful product. I hope it lasts. It is very well made. I would recommend it to everyone.

I actually have the uplift 700 base, but I don't think they sell that anymore. It's very similar to this base. I just had to write this review because the company's customer service is so awesome. I've owned my base for over a year, and due to a user mishap (my kid's fault!), one leg was a little bit higher than the other. Customer service walked me through the reset procedure, and when that did not fix the problem, they just shipped me a new leg.

This desk serves me very well every day, and The Human Solution is just great to work with.

I had a desktop that I already enjoyed but wanted to take advantage of the standing desk at times. This kit worked GREAT for converting my current desk to a convertible desk! It took me about an hour after receiving the kit to modify my desktop to fit it and I was good to go. It holds my laptop cradle and dual monitor setup with ease. I never even think about the weight of things I stack on it. Very powerful indeed. Some people have complained that it shakes too much, but I have not experienced this. I am 6'5" and stand on an anti-fatigue mat and have not had swaying issues. I also tend to lean on the desk from time-to-time and it never feels unstable.

I bought myself this frame as a Christmas present and to help me be more healthy this year. I used a Table top as my desktop. It went together muc easier than I expected. The up/down movement and controls are great and the quality of it seems top notch. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in this market.

Couldn't be easier to set up or use. Owner spends hours in home office. He has seen improvement in his muscular discomforts.

I bought a beautiful piece of irregular shaped black walnut to put on top and it looks and works great. I really like the design and build quality of this base and may make a couple more for a few friends. Thanks for a great product!

We bought the frame and threw a 96x36 butcher block on top of it. Assembly was pretty straightforward and simple, no complaints there. I personally have had some circulation problems caused from the way I sleep (and sitting at a desk 8 hours a day certainly didn't help), and being 6'4" it wasn't going to get any better unless I did something.

I can say without hesitation the desk has helped me and it's night and day. I'll sleep through the whole night, AND I don't wake up with my arms dead asleep for 20 minutes.

Besides that it's also great practice for standing for longer periods of time. This is huge if you're like me and travel all the time to conferences. Networking is great, but having feet that are killing you from networking --- not so much.

Incredibly sturdy and capable of carrying 100 lbs of gear even when installed with a tabletop extending the substructure fully. Motors and gearing sound and feel solid and the four memory positions are very easy to set and use. So far, it has served me well for several months and my back has never felt better. Kudos to you Human Solution for building a rugged tank of a desk. Look forward to using it daily for years and years to come.

I write for a living so spend a great deal of time at a computer. I have a solid oak table I had made as my workspace, really did not want to give that up but needed a solution to sitting all day. I bought the uplift 900 Frame. It fits under the table with no obstruction and it works perfectly. My initial concern that the desk would be too heavy to lift and still be stable (it is around 100 pounds empty but with printer, two monitors on it around 150 pounds). Those concerns are long gone. The uplift handles it without strain and is as stable up as down. I also have a Humanscale Freedom Saddle Seat which I bought before (one that goes up quite high). It works perfectly with the desk so I can sit, stand or sort of Stand-Sit. Both are great products. For those who want to keep their own desk or table but want to stand they are a perfect solution.
