Mount
Basic Mount
The Humanscale M2.1 Monitor Arm is designed to mount to a multitude of surfaces. Clamp, bolt-through, slatwall, direct wall mount, Frame One mount, and c:scape mount are available. A combination clamp and bolt-through mount is also available.
M/Connect Dock with Integrated Clamp Mount
You can also upgrade to the M/Connect dual-video docking station mount to simplify and streamline your workspace. This mount clamps to the desk and consists of an above-desk USB hub and a docking station with more ports that is located beneath the desk for a cleaner look. The M/Connect will come in colors to match the color scheme chosen for your monitor arm: Polished aluminum with white trim and cables, silver with gray trim and cables, or black with black trim and cables.

The Humanscale M2.1 Monitor Arm is customizable with a wide variety of arm styles. You may choose a single link or create a more flexible arm with any of the two link options. The different link components are outlined below.

End Style
The Humanscale M2.1 Monitor Arm comes with a standard ball joint only.
VESA Plate
Your monitor will attach directly to the Humanscale M2.1 Monitor Arm with a VESA plate adapter. Most monitors come with a standard 100 mm x 100 mm VESA adapter, but larger or older monitors may have different sizes. Please check with your monitor's manufacturer if you are unsure what size plate your display requires.

Good quality
Lightweight, but good build quality. Arms are easily adjusted to get perfect height/angle. Expensive, but I'm happy with them.

I very happy with everything about this except I wish it went higher. You'll have to be sure it will go high enough for you or work out some way to mount it higher. This is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. After using it for a month I feel like it's a high-quality well-designed device and looks like it will last a long time. I love that.
One warning: if you buy direct from manufacturer you will have to wait a week or two before they actually ship it. It does say this on the website, but I didn't see it before I ordered. -
M2 monitor arm is working great!
I saw that this arm won the NeoCon award for best monitor arm so I went ahead and bought it based on that. I'm happy to say that this beautiful monitor arm holds my LCD monitor exactly where I effortlessly move it to. It is so much easier to adjust than my last arm. My desk is now more usable as I can get my monitor in the optimal position or push it out of the way when not needed.
