Dedicated Task
Dedicated task mechanisms are ideal for those who prefer the same position during the day with minimal adjustment. The dedicated task mechanism enables independent seat angle and back rest adjustment. Please note that the dedicated task mechanism does not include a seat slider, but can be upgraded to include one.

Synchro
Synchro mechanisms work well in offices for data entry and clerical work, as well as institutional settings such as computer labs, study tables and libraries. The chair requires a minimum of manual adjustment, as the seat and seat back are synchronized to stay at the optimal angle.

Fabric
The ergoCentric geoCentric Task Chair is available in a wide variety of fabrics.
Open House - Grade 1
Open House is composed of 100% recycled polyester. With an abrasion resistance rating of 250,000 double rubs, this material will stand up to the test of daily use. Spot clean with a water-based cleaning agent and vacuum for general upkeep.
Hue - Grade 2
Hue fabric is 100% polyester and comes in a wide variety of colors. This material has an abrasion rating of 1,000,000 double rubs. Spot clean with a water-based cleaning agent.
Spirit Millennium - Grade 2
Spirit Millennium is a durable vinyl available in many colors. This upholstery is the best choice for healthcare or laboratory settings. It is sulfide stain and mildew resistant so it is easy to keep clean. For upkeep, simply wipe the surface clean. A diluted, bleach based cleaner may also be used to disinfect the material.
Staccato - Grade 2
Staccato is composed of 100% Cordura nylon for a strong fabric with a pleasing texture. An abrasion rating of 1,900,000 is a testament to its durability. Spot clean with a water-based cleaning agent.
Teknit - Grade 3
Teknit is a closely knit fabric composed of 100% polypropylene. Available in a wide array of subdue tones, this fabric will go well with many decors. Teknit is also durable, with an abrasion rating of 250,000 double rubs. Spot clean with a water-based cleaning agent.
Seat Foam
The ergoCentric geoCentric Task Chair is available with your choice of seat foams. While the standard dual density is soft and supportive, for extra comfort we recommend upgrading to the memory foam or triple density foam.
Seat Slider
Option to add a 2 1/2" Seat slider (adds 1 1/2" to seat's height) for even more customizable comfort in the seat. Only available with 26" Glass reinforced nylon base.
Base
The base is available in either a polished aluminum or a black painted finish. Neither choice will affect the underlying ergonomics of the chair. This is a purely aesthetic choice.
Casters
The ergoCentric geoCentric Task Chair is available with a variety of caster styles. For most applications, we suggest the standard dual wheel nylon casters, however, if you are unsure please give us a call at 1-800-531-3746.
Seat Height
The cylinder is the part of the chair that joins the bottom of the seat to the base. It allows the seat of the chair to raise and lower. Sometimes the cylinder is called the "lift" or the "vertical elevation ram". The ergoCentric geoCentric Task Chair is available with a standard, short, or tall cylinder. For most people, we recommend the standard.

Lumbar
The ergoCentric geoCentric Task Chair is an ergonomically sound chair that offers comfort and good support, but those who want extra lumbar support should consider upgrading to air lumbar. Air lumbar is inflated by hand with an easy-to-use pump and adjusts to the level of firmness you desire.
Headrest
The ergoCentric headrest has three pivot points. That makes it extremely adjustable within its 7" vertical and horizontal range. It is constructed of durable aluminum to withstand years of re-adjustment.

ergoCentric geoCentric chair review
The chair is very comfortable and I am happy with it in all respects except for the color. I ordered Cypress but it is actually much more green, closer to the way Wasabi appears on the website. There were no problems with ordering and delivery, it went smoothly.

If you decide to order another chair we can send you fabric swatches before hand so you can see the actual fabric. We offer this service for every chair we sell.
